In 2017 El Rio Hostel quickly gained a reputation for throwing some spectacular parties, bringing a new breed of house, techno and disco event to the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Relying on our roster of residents, El Rio became known for hosting reliably on point parties week in, week out. 

In 2018 El Rio have adopted a less-is-more approach, cherry picking the best aspects of the early events to bring a new concept to the coast, with fewer, larger events focussing around a certain theme and sound. 

For Bonanza 001, we are looking to Germany, inviting Baum affiliate Niklas Stadler, Munich’s Buzzika, Flashmob records signee Stefanie Raschke and Alex Gøtthardt, one half of the Nürenberg duo Gøttfried & Gregor, plus the usual residents, to a new location right on the beach, between Santa Marta and Palomino. Expect house and techno of the highest order in a breathtaking new location.
